“Helping others make better work is part of what I love about this craft.”

- MICHAEL PRESSMAN

Making films can be exhilarating, but it can also be confusing, lonely, and hard to navigate—especially when you’re starting out, or trying to take the next step. Having someone experienced in your corner can make a real difference.

Whether you’re pursuing a career as a director, developing a screenplay, preparing a project, or simply trying to find your place in this business, I’d be glad to help. Over the years, I’ve mentored many directors—some just beginning, others well into their careers—and I’ve found I deeply value those conversations.

Having directed nine feature films, more than one hundred television episodes, and numerous movies for television, I’ve learned a great deal—sometimes by getting it right, and often by getting it wrong first. I can offer perspective, practical advice, creative feedback, and encouragement as you pursue your own path.

I believe great movies come from clarity of vision, strong storytelling, and a willingness to keep learning. If I can help you sharpen your ideas, avoid some common pitfalls, or move a project closer to what it wants to be, I’d be honored to do that.
